Central Iowa Music Lab
Central Iowa Music Lab (CIML) was created in 2009 by James Biehn, a prominent musician/instructor in the Des Moines area.
The goals of CIML are twofold:
- To give a student enough musical skills to creatively interact with other musicians
- To incorporate computer and Internet technology into each student’s lessons to help accelerate the learning process.
CIML offers:
- Guitar lessons (group or individual)
- Bass guitar lessons
- Drums lessons
- Piano lessons
- Voice lessons
- Violin lessons
- Music theory lessons
- Songwriting lessons
- “Rock Band Class” in which intermediate/advanced students can join each other to learn songs with coaching from experienced musician/bandleaders.
